We also are only about 20 people, so we have to set priorities and we've been working really hard to deliver this Early Access version and rest assured that we keep on working hard to make this the best experience possible for everyone. Also consider that the game can be played by every PC owner with mouse+kb and a majority will have a xinput controller. Remember that often a minority can be very vocal, because you are more likely to write when there is a problem compared to when everything works fine. And of course we anticipated it but my guess is that only 1 of 100 of our players prefer to play our game with HOTAS/Joystick/HOSAS (remember we are way more acrady/casual than a space sim and are really trying to not only appeal to a hardcore space sim fan base) and maybe 50% of these with a "mixed input" method. It's not that low on the list, but well, not the highest priority, either. I strongly think you all need to reevaluate the importance of this feature. ![]() So why have it so far low on the development ladder? Such a road map was likely plotted out in advance without even a second thought to this particular feature, and as far as you all know - a great deal of players could be wanting this sort of thing.įrom my experience, I've seen a lot complaints on the first day alone. The default is 1, but setting it to 2.0 will double your mouse area around the reticle, and this reduces A LOT the wobble effect, since you will have the mouse input range doubled. ![]() Personally I'd rather have a system where I select the devices I want to use instead of the auto detect method getting confused with the multiple control scheme inputs. But alas I guess that's something else to implement at a later date. I expected to have the same option in every space one to just use the trackpad on a PS4 controller as an input device. Die now, and they can’t just 3D print a new meat wagon. I am a little disappointed that this combo feature isn't supported like it (kind of) is in everspace one however. Everspace 2 is bigger, brighter, bolder, ditching the roguelite template to focus on the last remaining clone pilot, Adam Roslin. I have lots of respect for the work you guys have been doing. That could be worded to be a fair bit nicer, yeah.
